The
rare combination of the classical guitar and cello make up the Moeller Cello and
Guitar Duo. Together, guitarist Paul Moeller and his wife, cellist Kerena
Moeller, have concertized throughout the United States and England. They
have twice won the Baltimore Chamber Music Awards Competition, which presented
them on the Artscape Classics in the Cool Series during the Baltimore Festival
of the Arts.
The pair has performed on the Baltimore Classical Guitar
Society Concert Series, the Easton Academy for the Arts in Maryland, the Music
in the Great Hall Series in Towson, the Shriver Hall Wednesday Noon Series, the
Levine Encore Concert Series, the Harmony Hall Concert Series and for the Peabody
at Homewood Series.
The Moeller Duo has toured in the United States and
England. In 2002 & 2003, the pair toured throughout Florida, North Carolina,
Maryland and Pennsylvania giving over fifty concerts. In 2004 they will
be performing in Pennsylvania, Florida, Maryland, Connecticut, Massachusetts,
North Carolina and Washington D.C. Their debut recording, "Around the World
and Bach" features solo classical guitar works as well as cello and guitar duets.
